Tour Operator in Coimbatore – Terms & Conditions

1. Government ID Proof

All passengers must submit a photocopy or soft copy of a valid Government-issued ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License or Passport) before the trip begins. This is mandatory for security and record purposes.

2. Payment Terms (Three-Stage Payment System)

• 10% Advance – Required to confirm and block the vehicle.
• 50% Payment – Payable at boarding time before trip commencement.
• 40% Balance – To be settled at the end of the trip before drop-off.

3. Day Calculation

A day is counted as a full calendar day (12:00 AM to 11:59 PM), even if the pickup time varies, unless stated otherwise in the package.

4. Tour Package Inclusions

Package prices include parking charges, toll fees, interstate permits and check-post taxes unless otherwise specified in the quotation.

5. Air Conditioning Usage

In hill stations, air conditioning will not be operated during travel, on uphill or downhill routes, or while the vehicle is parked or idle, to ensure vehicle performance and safety.

6. Driver Allowance

For outstation trips, driver food and accommodation charges apply and will be communicated clearly at the time of booking.

7. Night Travel Restrictions

Night travel between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM is subject to additional charges, primarily to ensure passenger comfort and driver safety. Sightseeing included in tour packages will be covered only during daytime hours.

After 8:00 PM, vehicle usage is generally limited to dinner travel, and guests are kindly requested to return to the accommodation at a reasonable time.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the trip start time may be eligible for refunds. For last-minute cancellations, customers are requested to inform us as early as possible.

Hotel cancellation charges, if applicable, are governed by the individual hotel’s policy. SOT Travels is not responsible for such charges.
